Administrator

James “Jamie” Grimes began at Lakeview House as an assistant administrator in the business office in 2001. He became Administrator in January of 2008.

His position involves interaction with all department heads in order to manage all functional activity at the facility. He oversees the admission process, coordinating with the directors of nursing and social services. He works with the maintenance director to ensure the quality and integrity of the Lakeview House campus, and supervises its top-notch status with regard to functioning, maintenance, and repair.

He coordinates and manages all financial activities at the facility. He manages the payroll process as well as the residents’ personal needs accounts to make sure that staff and residents are paid accurately and on time. Jamie pays all bills and evaluates all new purchases. He also procures quotes for major repairs and negotiates with contractors and service providers. In addition, he is responsible for implementing the outside auditor financial review process.

Jamie is responsible for the operation of the facility computer system, maintaining its secure and consistent functioning. He works with the food service supervisor to ensure the proper functioning of the kitchen and timely preparation of food. Jamie coordinates with the director of medical records to ensure that there is adequate storage for all records and that these materials are properly maintained.

Jamie works closely with the fire and safety officer to guarantee that alarm systems, fire extinguishers, eye wash machines, defibrillators and other safety equipment are on hand and operating properly. In case of emergency, he coordinates with the fire department and other emergency management agencies.

Jamie graduated from Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, New Hampshire. He went on to attend the University of Southern New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration.
